Sharon studied the Impressionistic painters while at Queens University, but her love of watercolours came from Donnah Cameron, a local artist ( and mentor). For over 25 years she took lessons from many artists in the Quinte area painting on location in Ontario, Mexico and France. In 2003 she opened her studio and art gallery where she teaches painting classes to adults and children.
Bower paints florals and buildings with watercolours. She also experiments with pen and ink, French dyes on silk, and mixed media
Besides having her art on display at Belleville Art Association Shows, SideStreet Gallery in Wellington, and in Barber’s Flower Shop in Belleville, Sharon holds an annual show the first weekend in June at her Bayside studio and gallery at 547 Whites Road, Trenton, Ontario. (Hits: 1435)
