Although Art in some form or other has always been an intricate part of my life, and was also a decisive factor when choosing a career in Home Economics, I only started pursuing it wholeheartedly in 2002 upon returning to Canada after living in Europe for eight years.
Moving to Belleville in 2005 and living in a somewhat country–like setting by the water, surrounded by many talented artists, has really been inspiring.
I am constantly experimenting with other mediums, but always tend to come back to watercolours. I can’t generalize as to what I favour to paint, since every motif is still a challenge and learning experience for me. This is why my collection is so varied.
The community of Belleville and Prince Edward County is very receptive in promoting the local artists.
My work has been displayed in various venues around town, as well as a number of juried shows such as Picton’s Art in the County show.
