Hearts for Heroes… artworks created by some of our members as a way to show our love to all the health care and many other service workers who are putting themselves at risk for the safety and welfare of their communities! We can’t thank them enough! ❤

Downtown at Dusk

What an amazing evening! Our gallery received around 200 visitors just during the event. Big thank you to Bill and Sue for sitting the gallery during this event! We are ready for the next one! 😎

Here, Bill does double duty as he sketches and counts the number of visitors to the gallery. A beautiful night, a packed downtown.

Joan Reive Honoured by City

Belleville Mayor Mitch Panciuk recently presented an award to Joan Reive for her outstanding contributions to the arts in Belleville.

Joan has been a member of the Belleville Art Association for over 50 years teaching, mentoring and sharing her expertise in countless ways. Joan is a painter and fibre artist and has recently added polymer clay jewelry to her repertoire.

The award was presented at the recently held Mayor’s Luncheon for the Arts.

Painting Party with Audrey

Several enthusiastic painters enjoyed the first painting party to be held at the new Gallery. Under the help from class leader Audrey Thomas, the students painted some amazing winter landscapes.
