I enjoy looking at all forms of artwork, from Realism to Abstraction. But when painting, I draw from recent or distant memories. When I am working, photos, objects, or any other physical references are not used. I paint from my imagination, which leads to what I hope are simple, raw, and expressive pictures. Objects or scenes that are very familiar to me are often used in my imagery. This helps with the flow of my process.

My education has been a BSc. Followed by a BFA from Queen's University.

I have lived in Toronto, Vancouver and for the last decade, in Belleville.
