Lorraine Roberts is an award-winning artist that creates landscape, floral and abstract paintings in soft pastel. Her art hangs in private and corporate collections and has been juried into exhibitions across Canada, the USA and Europe. Lorraine is a juried Member of the Federation of Canadian Artists and a juried Associate Member of The Pastel Society of America. She is a Signature Member of the Pastel Artists of Canada. Her studio/gallery is located in Stone Mills (Yarker), Ontario and is open by appointment.

After a career as a flutist, composer and recording artist, she became the owner of an organic perennial nursery/botanical garden and the author/photographer of two gardening books. Life comes full circle as Lorraine returns to her fine art background. She uses soft pastel’s luminous qualities and pure pigment to vividly portray the radiance of the moment. Her art reflects the ephemeral nature of our world, and she explores nature as a metaphor for life’s journey here and beyond.
